Supervisors make appointments to county boards

New appointments to the Rappahannock County Library Board of Trustees and the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board were made Monday by the county’s Board of Supervisors.

Dolores Crooke of Chester Gap was appointed to a four-year term on the Library Board, replacing Charlotte Nichols, who was not eligible for re-appointment due to serving the maximum two terms. The supervisors reappointed Jim Oyster to the Library board; his current term expires at the end of the month, but he is eligible for a second term.

The board also re-appointed Helen Williams to a three-year term on the Community Services Board.
