RappVoice introduces new Events calendar for Rappahannock
The Rappahannock Voice today introduces a new feature–a calendar of local events that will list meetings, performances, entertainment, hearings before governmental bodies, and other items happening in Rappahannock County.
The calendar can be found in the left-hand column of our front page, under items in Today’s Briefing. Brief descriptions of events, organized by date, will appear just below the small graphic showing a calendar page; by clicking on the brief descriptions (such as “Jan. 3–Board of Supervisors”) you will see a fuller description of the event.
RappVoice will rely on local organizations, groups, schools, churches, artists, entertainers and others to send in listings for the calendar. Send listings by e-mail to: blackwaterpub@adelphia.net. Include brief description, date, time, place, sponsor, name of contact person, phone number, and any information on admission fees, if any.
There is no fee for listing events in the RappVoice Calendar. This is intended as a service to the community and its non-profit organizations and groups. We ask local organizations to designate some person to keep us informed of upcoming events.
A note on using the Calendar: Use your computer mouse to navigate within the calendar. The current month is displayed on our front page in a small calendar-page image; dates in red have events attached to them. You may click on any of the red dates to see the Event note for that date. You may look ahead to future months by clicking the arrows near the top of the calendar for the next month. Each red date has an Event note attached.
