RappFLOW meeting

Indulge yourself this coming Thursday at 6:30, to a succinct overview of 2007 progress in watershed protection in Rappahannock County, presented by six of our dedicated leaders in conservation in Rappahannock County. We’ll have some festive eatables to share. And, you’ll get a chance to put in your 2 cents about next year’s goals.
Here’s the agenda (limit 5 minutes each topic, we promise!):
- Summary of overall progress of RappFLOW and its partners in watershed protection in 2007 and goals for 2008 (Bev Hunter)- Progress in protecting lands through easements in 2007 (Don Loock)

- Progress in agricultural BMP implementations through CSWCD in 2007 (Monira Rifaat)

- Progress in water quality monitoring in 2007 and goals for 2008 (Kenny Giles)

- Progress and learnings about Best Practices (stream buffers and raingardens) (Marc Malik)

- Progress in watershed assessment and mapping in 2007 and goals for 2008 (Bev Hunter)

- Progress in community outreach and education in 2007 and goals for 2008 (Jenny Fitzhugh).

- Progress in recruiting, training, coordinating and recognizing volunteers (All)
