Heathstone School ‘Music Makers Camp’ opens

Music Makers – July 7 -10, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Join us for 4 days of creative music-making. As a community, we will build a wooden xylophone (based on the amadinda from Uganda) and learn to play it. We will also be making bucket drums. Other daily activities will include improvisational music games, drumming, learning a few basic rhythms, and outside games. The camp will conclude with a celebration/mini-performance with our newly-made instruments.
Ages: 8 and above are welcome

Cost: $125 plus $10 material fee − a $25.00 non-refundable deposit is due with registration
