Stadium lights at RCHS to be on all night Thursday in break-in test before first night game Friday
The new athletic field lights at Panther Stadium at Rappahannock County High School will be on all night tonight (Thursday) for a 24-hour break-in of the system, School Superintendent Robert Chappell announced.
“Assuming the lights work properly, the Homecoming Football game vs. Massanutten will be held at 7 PM Friday night,” Chappell said. “We invite citizens to pack Panther Stadium for this momentous event. There is some bleacher seating, but there is also space for people to bring their own chairs. You may want to arrive early to see recognition of Senior players, presentation of the Homecoming Court, the Marching Panther Band, and the Cheerleaders.”
“The school and the students will appreciate the community coming out to support the team and the other participants.”
