The Rappahannock Voice offers advertising opportunities to individuals and businesses who wish to reach readers in and around Rappahannock County.
Classified Ads
Inexpensive classified ads are available to private individuals selling household goods, used vehicles, or other items, and to local businesses, including home-based businesses. Classified ads up to 50 words are eligible for publication on RappVoice for up to one month, at a charge of $10 for 30 days exposure. Ads must contain a local phone number and must give the real name of the person submitting the ad, and a place of residence or zip code.
Classified ads, in text only, should be e-mailed to: blackwaterpub@comcast.net. Ads will be placed on RappVoice upon payment of the $10 fee for 30 days. Payments should be sent to RappVoice, PO Box 595, Flint Hill, VA 22627. Once payment is received, the ad will go up on our site for 30 days; ads may be renewed for subsequent 30-day periods upon payment of $10 for each 30-day period.

Display Advertising
The Rappahannock Voice welcomes advertisers to place display ads on our pages. Such ads will appear in the right-hand column of our front page (home page at rappvoice.com) on a space-available basis. Ads for Rappahannock County businesses–such as shops, restaurants, B&Bs, service providers (plumbers, accountants, computer-service technicians, etc., who may operate from home) will receive priority in placement.
For a standard display ad, measuring two inches deep by one column, the charge is $90 for a 60-day exposure on RappVoice. For a 90-day exposure, the charge is $125. The minimum commitment for a display ad is 60 days. Such ads may be text-only, or text plus a logo or other image provided by the advertiser; the ads may be linked to an existing website, or to an e-mail address, so the RappVoice reader may “click through” directly to your website. For ads containing images, such as a logo or photo, there is a one-time $15 fee to set up and format your ad; this fee will not be charged on subsequent renewals of your ad unless changes are required.

All advertising, both classified and display, is subject to our review and approval.
